LIVING BALL VISITS LAERSKOOL ELOFF

Mr Gildenhuys, the Head Master of Laerskool Eloff, invited Living Ball to visit their school situated in Eloff close to Delmas. The Message was shared to the 300 pupils at the school. The enthusiasm of the children was a pleasure to experience. We really enjoyed this visit and was blessed by the prayers of the children!

Cycle for Christ Cycle Tour to MMC10

The second and last C4C tour took place the week before the Mighty Men Conference in Greytown.  30 Cyclists and 25 Supporters left Pretoria and stayed over in four towns on their way down to Greytown.  Outreaches were held along the way and a couple of schools and churches were also visited.
The towns visited were Heidelberg, Standerton, Newcastle and Ladysmith.  A big thanks to our friends on route who blessed us with accommodation and food!  Thank you to our loyal sponsors who made it possible for us to hand out 700 Living Ball wristbands and 150 Living Ball sport balls.  We trust and pray that the seed sown, will carry good fruit!

Secunda and Living Ball

Sekoenda_439

A Business from Secunda sponsored 200 Living Ball soccer balls for a local outreach for the children in a township in Secunda.  Anne and her team from the "Ronde Kerk", a church in Secunda, held a Christmas party for the children.  Each child received cake, a sweets packet, ice cream and a Living Ball soccer ball.  Gavin and Riana, helpers from Living Ball Pretoria, delivered the balls to them.  Gavin told us that he and the other people present were sure that there were more than 200 children, but the balls lasted until every child received one... (a modern day example of the fish and bread).
Gavin shared the meaning of the four colors on the soccer ball to the children, and equipped them to go out and tell other people about Jesus!

Spreading the Gospel
Wildtuin_242_2 “SPREADING THE GOSPEL ON DUSTY SPORT FIELDS” got a new meaning when Living Ball took part in an outreach on the border of Mozambique/Mpumalanga.  We were invited by Adriaan and his team from Polokwane to join them on this outreach.  We drove for an hour and a half from Skukuza to a point at the Mozambique border.  On our arrival, about 80 people from a village 8 km away from the meeting point already awaited us.  The Minister from the Skukuza Congregation, Ds Carl, greeted the people and we were treated with some lovely praise and worship from the locals.  We invited the locals that wanted to participate in some games to climb over the gate and join us.  We really had some good fun playing with young and old as shown on the photos.  We challenged 8 of the locals to use the Living Ball as a tool to share the Gospel with the group.  They were each blessed with a ball to take the Good News back to their village.  Officials from the Kruger Park were present to make sure everyone went back to their own country.  Big thanks to Ds Carl and Adriaan for inviting us on this awesome outreach that really touched our hearts.

Living Ball Project in Balfour
Bal4_116 The minister of the NG Church in Balfour, Rev Stef Bothma, invited the Living Ball team to visit their town.  Over 7000 children were reached with the Good News by visiting all the schools in the Balfour area.  It was awesome to see how many children were willing to share the Gospel to fellow pupils by using the Living Ball as a tool.  Over 300 children attended a Kids Games day that was organized at the local school on Saturday.  In the afternoon we reached out to a group of Ethiopians that is staying in the City Hall due to xenophobia attacks.  Gavin Mong shared the Message with them and they were blessed with two soccer balls.  Sunday the  four participating Congregations invited us to share the Message in their churches.
We just want to thank Rev Stef Bothma and the rest of the team that made it possible for us to visit Balfour!

Church Plant Event Outside Groblersdal
Limpopo_037 In July Living Ball Pretoria was invited to a church plant event in a township outside Groblersdal. We had the opportunity to share the Good News and to play Kids Games with a group of exited children.
We also visited a church service at a building site in Naboomspruit where Franna ministered to a group of workers.  On both occasions Living Ball sport balls were handed out and the people were really happy to have these sport balls.
Thank you to our sponsors that make it possible for us to bless these people with the balls.
